LGBTI people’s experiences of

disaster & emergency management (EM) in Victoria?

This anonymous survey is for LGBTI people and/or EM personnel.

This project aims to learn about the experiences and needs of LGBTI communities in emergencies in Victoria.  The findings will inform the development of Emergency Management (EM) policies and procedures that reflect LGBTI-inclusive practice. The research project will be managed by the Gender and Disaster Pod, in partnership with GLHV@ARCSHS. It is funded by the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet and guided by an Advisory Group.

Click here for the questionnaire for LGBTI communities and/or people of diverse gender and sexual identities who have experienced an emergency (such as a house fire, or extreme weather event causing damage) or a disaster (such as a bushfire or flood).

Led by the GAD POD & GLHV@ARCSHS, La Trobe University. Funded by Dept. of Premier & Cabinet, Victoria, 2016/2017.
